  1. Fasting is a process in which you starve or don't eat any thing for a log period of time.usualy for 18-24 hours.
  2. Longer fast may produce certain health risks. If you are planning to go on a 2 Day or 3 day fast you should take your doctors permission to do so.

How does fasting helps?

Fasting helps cleans your body by removing all the toxins from your body and also during fasting period your blood sugar levels drop and you body starts using the stored fat as fuel.

Fasting is also proven to be helpful in reducing weight and control blood sugar
Should i go for fasting or intermittent fasting?
Personally i prefer to do intermittent fasting where you have a small window in which you can eat and for a long duration you don't eat an thing this period is usually between 16-18 hours.

Hear is a basic regime you can follow: -

1. In morning you can eat a light breakfast
2. Eat some fruits and few carbs in lunch.
3. Then you don't eat any thing till next morning.

In intermittent fasting we avoid eating at night because most of the time what we eat during night time is stored as fat.

"It could take the form of alternate days taking a full day off from eating or modified fasting like the 5:2 diet (5 days of regular eating, 2 days of only 500 calories) or time-restricted eating (set hours during the day for eating/fasting),"
